Because of the distant location it is a little out of the way from noisy and polluted Yogyakarta city. With respect to location, the resort is great for airport access as it is only a 5-10 minute drive away. However, it is a reasonable distance from the centre of Yogyakarta (20-30 minutes). While the hotel is quite a distance from the city centre, a number of free shuttles are provided each day so this shouln’t be a problem.

The 246 rooms are very 5-star quality-like hotel. which are good nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and modern with a balcony overlooking the truly beautiful gardens, pool area and most spectacularly, the spectacular view on to mount Merapi. The main facilities at the resort include the pool, spa, a couple of tennis courts, gym, a basic looking business centre, a small kids club and the pool table in the wine lounge.
