How effective is brochure distribution?
Brochures are the most cost-effective means of advertising available to the tourism industry.  When presented with brochures from a variety of tourist related attractions and services, the tourist will choose only the brochure or brochures that is of interest.  This means that your message will have a greater impact and a longer shelf-life because it has reached it’s target.

A 2003 Research Project commissioned by the International Association of Professional Brochure Distributors has shown that:

• 65% of those surveyed actually took a brochure from a display
• 85% became aware of a service or destination because of brochures in the display stand
• 59% actually visited an attraction or made a purchase based on brochures in a display
• 70% of those surveyed found brochure display stands extremely helpful in planning their current trip.
