The company then made a major renovation to the hotel, with a total cost of 9 billion Rupiahs and then named the hotel after the company, Natour Garuda. In 2001, Natour Company merged itself with Hotel Indonesia Company and not long after that the hotel changed its name to the present one, Inna Garuda Hotel.
