Dusun Jogja Village Inn

Dusun Jogja Village Inn

Dusun Jogja Village Inn is the pioneering boutique hotel in Yogyakarta. It is close to the center of town but neatly tucked away from the bustle of the city. The greenary all around, the fish in the ponds and the alcoves outside the rooms with stone busts of the buddha and ganesha all add to the serenity and quite that envelopes the place. The hotel is located just walking distance from Prawirotaman area, and not too far from several galleries and cafes. It only takes a 10-minute drive to the Kraton (Palace), 30 minutes to the largest Southeast Asia Hindhu temple Prambanan and 40 minutes drive to the world’s largest Buddhist temple Borobudur.

The hotel consists of 24 beautifully designed rooms. The popular 16 Deluxe Rooms come in two characters. The ones on the ground floor is for those who love ‘bath-type’ with an open-air bath and shower. Meanwhile the ones on upper floor are characterised with a spacious balcony for you to read or just daydream. Many walls in the rooms are plastered with summery, tropical colours with old-style tiles matching the antique-looking wooden furniture and decoration. Passing the lobby area, you will enter a lush garden with surprising corners to chill out at any time of the day. The shimmering, salted water in the pool invites you to plunge, whilst the smallish bar by the pool offers you refreshment in between the dives.

If you appreciate a smaller boutique like hotel with a good and calm atmosphere close to the center of the city, this hotel is really one of the better choices in Yogyakarta.
