The 2-day and 1-night tour to visit the astonishing former 7 Wonders of the World Borobudur Temple, followed by the beautiful landmark of Dieng Plateau in Central Java.

Day 1

We star the journey by departing from your hotel/resort at 10:00 AM. It is around 1 hour of drive before entering the Borobudur Temple from your hotel. First we go to Suroloyo Hills to see the whole complex of Borobudur Temple from above view. You can use this moment to take pictures while admiring the beautiful scenary of the area. After the photo session, we go to the Borobudur Temple complex accompanied by a local guide who speaks fluent English. We will spend the time at the temple for about 2 hours. There you can study the history of the structure and again take pictures for momento.

After visiting the temple we continue the tour to Dieng Plateau. Dieng Plateau is a marshy plateau that forms the floor of a caldera complex on the active volcano complex of Dieng, and is located near Wonosobo, Central Java. The trip will take about 2 and a half hours from Borobudur. The road to Dieng Plateau has beautiful scenary that can be viewed from the vehicle. The winding road is filled with coffee, tea and tobacco plantation view and some other vegetations view along the way. It’s a scenary that you don’t want to miss when taking a trip there. Upon arrival at the destination of Dieng Plateau, we will directly check-in to the Bujono Home stay. After that it’s leisure time until the next day.

Day 2:

We depart from the hotel at 5:00 Am and start the tour from the tracking starting point. We continue the tracking while witnessing the stunning sunrise and even have a slight view of some mountains and volcanoes on the island of Java such as; Merapi volcano, Mount Merbabu, mount sumbing, mount Sindoro and Slamet volcanoes. Again, take this moment to take pictures anywhere you like. After the photo session, the adventure continues to the lake complex. There are two lakes in the complex, the Color Lake, this is actually a volcanic crater so the reflection from the sun creates such beautiful color of the lake. After that we go to the Pengilon or Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake is a natural lake but it has kind of a mystical beauty. Not only the lake but also the existence of the horse, well and semar cave as a meditation place well give you more experience in this tour. After the watery landwark, we continue to the complex of Pendawa Temple. Pendawa Temple is the oldest Hindu Temple in Java, which was built in the seventh century. After the Temple, we will visit the Sikidang Crater. This is an active crater but you are still allowed to go close to the crater and witness its boiled sulfur spring to admire the uniqueness of Dieng Plateau until the end of the tour.
