After being held nine times in about 21 years time, Biennale Jogja has became a fine arts tradition which enables society to appreciate the aesthetic development and artistic achievement of the artist in this town. Carrying the theme “Jogja Jamming : the movement of visual art archive” as the conceptual frame, Biennale Jogja X-2009 intends not only to collect visual art archives and documents but also to show the public about “The way of understanding”, “The way of connecting”, “The way of interpreting”, and “The way of recreating” visual art archives and documents. The event displays attracting and entertaining shows, naming Art Archives Exhibition, Artists Interpretation and Public on the Move
